This site is designed to concisely and vibrantly present editors, publishers and web masters to my work as a journalist and editor in print and on-line media.
In recent months, I have focused primarily on gastronomy, wine & spirits, home entertaining and travel pieces for print and on-line media. However, I still have the extensive resources and contacts to put together pieces on interior design, business-to-business profiles, health & wellness, Jewish topics, entertainment and all things tied to lifestyle and human interest.
The principal sections of the site include an assortment of published articles, my resume and an overview of services can I provide to print and on-line media. If you have any questions about the material posted, my writing and editing practices, subjects I cover or things published on outside sources about me, please contact me directly at 4elyse@earthlink.net.
Additional Capabilities: I have worked in the public relations field for a decade, and also offer offer p.r., advertising and marketing writing services, such as biographies, fact sheets, press kits, press releases, web site copy and other collateral. If you are looking for memorable, magazine-style copy that will keep your audience engaged, let’s talk about how I can put you or your clients’ best face forward.
Don’t Forget: Haute Links! Check out my ever-growing list of links to interesting and useful web sites. If you’ve got something, someone or a great charitable cause you want to promote, let me know! I will be happy to post your web site and other information.

This may be of interest to up-and-coming writers
I have just posted a newly-published article on my “Published Articles” page in response to college students and others interested in getting into freelance writing as well as other people interested in how a writer markets him or herself. If you have any other questions, in addition to my qualifications, what I cover or any other topic of interest, I will be happy to address those questions directly. The article is from Quill, published by the Society of Professional Journalists. I am posting the article also in response to the current state of the economy and how some competitive professionals may behave as a result of the increasingly challenging nature of the print media field.
